| i have made a new desert track and for the intro i made a replay on my on my fave spots and i cut it and edited it with camera path. But when i am going to put it in the intro i know i have to go to in-game and load the ghost and then save it as clip and then use it in the intro section. but it only shows the FULL un-edited version, not the cut and edited one pls help me glitch? u know for example? the intro to free tran quallity u had a cut and edited replay in the intro.. pls reply soon as possible <3 will put is as a gif in my gif thread aswell | |

| Edit, cut and save the replay. Open your map. Import your clip in the intro and it's done | |

| hmmm....y dont u save the replay in the in-game editor THEN save the clip then export it into the intro editor as the intro editor may just get the intro from the replay...if u know what i mean | |

| TUTORIAL: Okay here is a tutorial for you, Let's say i wan't a 5 sec sequense where the car races from point A to point B. The track is my track tomorrow if anyone is interested Step 1: Make a clip in the ingame MT editor, place the trigger anywhere (your gonna remove it later) http://www.pici.se/498085/Step 2: Import the non edited ghost into the mediatracker, the button with the red stuff around it is the import ghost button http://pici.se/498086Step 3: Ok now this is gonna get a bit more advanced, Put out a block like in this case, camera custom (red line) and make it cover the full timeline, Then you put out keys on the camera custom block where you wan't the ghost to start and end. http://pici.se/498087Step 4: Make the replay start where you put out the start key on the camera custom by "dragging" the first key on the ghost to the point of the starting key on the camera custom, then you measure how long it takes for the ghost to race from the start to the point where you wan't the ghost to start, The time it takes for the ghost to get there you enter where it says "start offset" on the ghost options (just click the white ghost bar/line in the bottom of the screen/the block) Now the ghost should start at at the point you wna't it to start. http://pici.se/498090Step 5: Now you drag the ending key on the ghost block to the point where you put out the second key on the camera custom/where you wan't the ghost to stop. http://pici.se/498092Step 6: Now you make a camera that focuses on your ghost (you can use camera race but because of some stupid TM bug i had to use camera path) and let it keep playing after the ghost ended, The ghost will vanish at the end of the ghost block http://pici.se/498093Step 7: Move the whole ghost block (IMPORTANT NOT THE KEY, CLICK THE MIDDLE OF THE BLOCK AND DRAG IT TO THE BEGINNING OF THE TIMELINE) to the beginning of the timeline and make sure that the camera ends and starts at the same time. then you click the "show full time line" key. http://pici.se/498094Step 8: Export the clip (saving it that is) by clicking the export clip button (the one with the red lines around it in the pic). Now you can remove the the triggers and such, if you don't have any other ingame MT you can just click the "remove" button next to the thingy you click to get into the ingame MT editor http://pici.se/498095Step 9: Make sure you have saved the clip properly and leave the ingame MT editor and click your way into the intro MT editor http://pici.se/498096Step 10: Import the clip into the Intro editor by clicking the import clip button (also red lines around this one). then you go out of the MT editor and test the ghost in race mode and your'e done http://pici.se/498097Just some tips, The camera custom that i used is unneeded, i just put it there to see where the ghost were supposed to start and end. And also, you can make the whole intro in the Ingame MT editor and then import too, then you can watch it without leaving the MT editor. I hope this helped you | |

| the steps 3 4 5 6 i dont get. the ghost starts when the white block starts (correct) but it dont start at the right time :O and + how am i soppose to move it?? xD and what happends with the camera custom block at number 6? it isnt there. if i am to retarded to get this then i just gonna wait with the track until we can fix it frome here ty anyways for an purly awesome tut | |
